[movies]1940's TV: ''Howdy Doody'' from 1949
An 1940's episode of "Howdy Doody", I think this is from March 1949. This episode is complete with NBC-TV Promo, and two NBC-TV IDs. This program features music, comedy, and the infamous "re-purposed" silent film clip. All of this adds up to an entertaining half hour.

[movies]Artistic Masterpiece: ''Howdy Doody'' - 1 April 1952
An artistic masterpiece from the early 1950's, this episode of "Howdy Doody" comes from the 1st of April, 1952. As such, the episode starts with a practical joke which probably annoyed many people. This episode also contains lots of advertising for the sponsors, including Colgate Dental Cream and Kellogg's cereal. Like many TV broadcasts from this period, this episode features some talk about elections, though in a safe and light-hearted manner suited to the program's young audience.

[movies]Puppet Playhouse presents "Howdy Doody" - July/1948
One of the earliest surviving kinescopes of the "Howdy Doody" program. Phineas T. Bluster demands 500 marbles per day from Howdy Doody or else he will take over the town.
